Hip Hop Hooray, It's Almost Independence Day! 

Here's a list of free events happening in and around Orlando during the 4th of July weekend! 

1. Event Name: Baldwin Park Independence Bash 

When: Monday, July 3rd 2017

Where: Harbor Park 

Activities: Live music, shopping, food/drinks, face painting and more

Time: 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Fireworks: Yes, at 9:15 pm over Lake Baldwin 

2. Event Name:Red, Hot, & Boom 

When: Monday, July 3rd 2017

Where: Crane's Roost Park in Altamonte Springs 

Activities: Live celebrity performances, food/drinks, family fun activities  

Time: 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Fireworks: Yes, at 9:30 pm 

Parking Information: Parking is available at the Altamonte Springs Mall and surrounding areas 

3. Event Name: Olde Fashioned 4th of July Celebration 

When: Tuesday, July 4th 2017

Where: Central Park in Winter Park

Activities:Live music, inflatable bounce houses, and additional family fun activities. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy a nice picnic in the park.

Time: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm 


Additional Information: There will be a horse drawn carriage rides available with payment, to the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. The museum entrance is free and open from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. 

4. Event Name: Fireworks at the Fountain  

When: Tuesday, July 4th 2017

Where: Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando

Activities: Food vendors, live music, and family friendly activities around Lake Eola.

Time: 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Fireworks: Yes, at 9:10 pm 

Parking Information: Parking garages around downtown are available for parking. Street parking is also available but may be limited due to amount of people and/or road closures. 

5. Event Name: 4th of Jul-Eye on The Orlando Eye 

When: Throughout 4th of July weekend

Where: Orlando Eye on International Drive

Activities: Life entertainment, family friendly activities, and light show.

Time: Light show is at 9:00 pm

Fireworks: No

Parking Information: I-drive 360 has a parking garage and parking lot. 

6. Event Name: A Sci-Fi Fourth of July 

When: Tuesday, July 4th 20117

Where: Celebration Town Center in Celebration 

Activities: Movie, Sci-Fi/Super Hero costume contest, live music, and additional family fun activities 

Time: 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Fireworks: Yes, at 9:05 pm

7. Event Name: Star Spangled Sanford

When: Monday, July 4th 2017

Where: Sanford Riverwalk along Lake Monroe

Activities: Live music, family fun activities, and food/drinks.

Time: 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Fireworks: Yes, at 9:15 pm

8.  Event name: Party in the Park 

When: Tuesday, July 4th 2017

Where: Newton Park on Lake Apopka in Winter Garden

Activities: Live entertainment, food/drinks, and activities for all ages. Bring a chair/blanket if you don't want to sit in the grass to see the fireworks. 

Time: 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Fireworks: Yes, at 9:15 pm

Parking Information: Parking will be available at the Health Central Park and Dillard St. Elementary.
